History of the lamp

In the historic building of Barcelona City Hall, in an elegant meeting room, hung a small crystal chandelier, known as "Luz de Catalunya." Made in 1890, this 1.2 meter high and 80 cm diameter lamp was a gift from the Italian consul to commemorate the alliance between the two regions. With its hand-cut crystals and delicate design, it illuminated important decisions that shaped the city's future. In 1993, during a restoration of the building, the lamp was carefully removed.
